Twin Kitties Bead Embroidery Necklace

Two hand carved kitties share their space with a large faceted turquoise bead and a hammered copper "MEOW". Turquoise and amber colored seed beads provide a shimmering backdrop for golden fresh water pearls, amber chunks, African trade beads, and blue green marcasite rectangles. A large piece of amber serves as the clasp. This necklace fits the neck with a 17" length. The center measures 7" from the top to the bottom of the fringe. Lined with tan ultrasuede and signed by the artist. Designed and constructed, one bead at a time, by Mary Smith. Coordinating earrings are made of complementary beads wire wrapped to an etched copper base. Earrings have French wires and are 2 3/4" long, including ear wires.
